>> a double stabbing under investigation tonight in east san jose. the violence leaving 2 people in critical condition. investigators say the double stabbing happened just before 5.30, in the area of south king road and wayne police have been asking people to avoid the area as there were a lot of cars and people that have been out there for. >> the cinco de mayo celebrations and we're still working to get some more information as police are investigating. police in oakland caught one person allegedly planning to take part in a side show tonight. >> oakland police shared this on twitter about an hour ago saying the driver was identified as a side show promoter and arrested for recklessly evading police. opd says it has an additional unit out there tonight prepared to respond. any sideshows that might pop up. all right. let's take a look outside right now at san francisco. this is sort of like a like, very dark for some reason that city hall there lit up in green gayle

ong. joining us with a look at the forecast to hello. yes, you know, we are chilly tonight. will we have that breeze, which has the been a? >> the set up here for us, but it will be chilly tomorrow morning. so very similar to today. so temperatures out the door right now. we're in the low 50's upper 40's. so san francisco, 49 degrees oakland. 52 degrees happened. bay in the 40's as well will be dropping a bit. but we are warming up as starting later this week. but temperatures are about 6 degrees up than we were this time yesterday. 4 degrees over in novato. and here's that seabreeze. that schooling is down over by the coast. a little refreshing in places like livermore san jose would relatively calm wind speeds. now the winds will start common the morning, but we will see another breezy day tomorrow. very similar set up to today. your morning drive looks good as well. mostly clear here now come late morning around 10:11am, you could see pockets of some the marine layer returning to the

north bay. so sonoma and maren county. so keep that in mind. things makes out by the afternoon and we'll start off in the 60's and gradually bump up to the 70's and even 80's by the end of the week. back to you. all right, thanks live. highway 9 will be closing in saratoga this week. >> caltrans says crews will be working on the saratoga creek bridge. the closures will go from wednesday in till saturday morning. the roads will be closed from 9 at night until 7 in the morning. every night. people rallied lafayette today bringing attention to the 100 hostages still being held by hamas. attendees say it's a reoccurring rally over highway. 24 in lafayette. they held up american israel flags as well as the faces of those who have been captured. they want israel and hamas to reach a deal and bring home the hostages. today they were rallying on the bridge for about 2 hours.

and unlike the chaos we saw at ucla last week, the protesters left peacefully after more than 100 officers in riot gear showed up just after 5 o'clock this morning, the protesters were warned ahead of time that they would be arrested if they did not leave. but there were no arrests made and encampment is still standing at uc irvine. 5 days after students began protesting there, like many universities across the country, students at uc irvine calling on the school to stop doing business with israel or major companies that may support the war in gaza. those demonstrating in irvine say they are refusing to leave until their demands are met. regardless of the threat of arrests. >> i believe that anything were to happen, i will have be able to get out of it and say i did the right thing. i my ground. i had the backbone to stand against the genocide when we are being reprimanded for sending against the genocide. >> according to the associated press, more than 2400 people have been arrested on 47 college and university

police are investigating after a person was shot and killed near lake merritt. >> police say the shooting happened just before noon on first avenue. the victim's name has not been released at this time. but in that same area, a driver crashed into the parking lot at america's best value inn on east 12th street. this is video here from the citizen app. police have not confirmed if that shooting and the crash were connected. in the south bay. one person is dead tonight after multiple cars collided in san jose. chp says the crash happened a little after 1 o'clock this morning. several cars crashing on highway 101 near north mathilda avenue. investigators say the southbound lanes one-on-one had to be shut down for at least 3 hours. those lanes reopened just before 5 it's unclear what started this crash. may is mental health

area. all right. let's get you a look at your 4 zone forecast. gayle ong, what's happening with the weather? much quieter now. and yes, over a 2 feet of snow and had the sierra. >> in 24 hours and we had our weather as well with the rain. now things are going to be coming down. we will be warming up and we will start on the chilly out, though, tomorrow morning. so you'll notice that will start in the 60's for monday. but then we start to gradually warm up to lead the 70's and 80's. you'll see that in the 7 day in just a bit. but you can see how quiet it is. most of that activity now is moving towards the rockies, salt lake city and denver, seeing some unsettled weather there. quiet for us in california tonight, mostly clear with some breezy conditions that wind speeds should calm down overnight, chilly morning once again, partly cloudy skies. but it looks like we're mostly sunny and then we'll see those breezy conditions once again. and then that warming trend mid week. that's when we'll notice that. so futurecast is

even quite as well. we don't see the greens or anything just to be a marine layer over in marin and sonoma counties. late morning 10:00am 11 am and then things start to makes out by the afternoon. so you can see mostly sunny skies. this is 03:00pm. and then by dinnertime, you could see some clouds roll in, but we will be warming the snow will be in the low 60's for monday, but then will start to be back in the 70's. so it's all because of this. we have a ridge of high pressure that is rolling in here and come wednesday. that's where we're going start to notice the temperatures start to get warmer. and as this ridge strengthens, then we'll start to see the 80's in our inland communities. so places like livermore santa rosa, you could even see upper 80's. so with the warm temperatures, we have the pollen forecast. so we have a medium-high in the forecast for tuesday wednesday. so i anticipated to be similar as the week progresses because it will be warmer for the week. we'll be starting off chilly once again for your monday

morning in the upper 30's and 40's. but then we'll be warming up very similar temperatures. just a tad. they'd warmer in our inland communities like a purse mid to upper 60's. so, you know, similar low 60's upper 50's tomorrow. and then here is your seven-day forecast. so notice tuesday, wednesday will to start to see some sunny skies for inland communities. and then back end of the week. back to the 80's. the temperatures will rebound next weekend. it looks like even thursday i mind, you know, 77 by the bay and coast. so that swarm that warm the cold temperatures go, you know? oh, my goodness. yeah. whenever we get above 70 here in the my goodness today. their condition, right? exactly. yeah. haha. >> all right. keep that in all right, thank you, world. >> beautiful music here in san francisco for cinco de mayo. the marriott he's out there
